Join us for an interactive program focused on connecting dental hygienists & assistants in our community to strengthen our working relationships and elevate the patient experience. Implant maintenance should be a part of the treatment plan. Start by educating your patient once they understand and accept treatment, not after the treatment is done. Your patient will need to know how dental implants differ from their natural dentition and why they need more attention. This explanation can pave the way to ensuring they set up and keep regular cleaning appointments and great homecare. By establishing this protocol, you can provide your patients with the tools needed to hopefully avoid complications in the future.
